In the clutch unit is a lever (6) which rotates about an axis and acts on a housing (1) which can move axially and contains the clutch thrust bearing. This thrust onto the housing from the lever is transmitted by two diametrically opposite pads (4). On one side of the pad, the bearing surface is curved, whilst the other is flat. This allows the pads to move radially on the thrust surface of the primary plane (3) which is perpendicular to the axis. They are also guided by their frontal faces (7) on the secondary surfaces (8) that are orientated radially and disposed perpendicular to the primary surfaces. A clip (11) holds the pads in position. USE - Pads fitted between the fork lever and the clutch thrust sleeve of a vehicle's clutch unit.
