The manipulator consists of a reduction motor (11) which drives two cams providing, respectively, horizontal and vertical movements of the gripping arm (1). These cams are mounted on the end of the shaft of the motor. The vertical cam is in the form of a plate acting on a roller (13) mounted on a vertical slide (3) which carries the arm. The horizontal cam acts on another roller (16), the movement of which is amplified by a lever (17) which, in turn, activates the arm horizontally. ADVANTAGE - Provides manipulator which is compact, rapid and precise in action.
