摘要
Hub carriers (2, 8) are turned about the pivot axes (3) by the steering system (5) acting on the hub carriers through anchorage points (6, 7) and controlling the wheel tracking. The front springs (4) act on the hub carrier (2) through the points (1) which are not on the swivel axis of the suspension. When steering lock is applied to the wheels (9, 10), the spring on the outer side of the turn is compressed and that on the inner side has less load, providing a centring effect. USE/ADVANTAGE - Front suspension for utility vehicles, light transport and competition vehicles. Zero or negative castor angles lighten the driver's steering effort and stabilise basically unstable steering systems.
