The nesting box is intended to be used for laying and to be placed between the raising space (3) and a exit passage (4). It consists of a floor (5), with an egg box (6) arranged to collect the eggs (7). The two side walls (8, 9) form the laying space (12), which is slightly larger than the width of the birds. The side walls carry a controllable closing flap (13), which separates the laying space (12) from the exit passage (4), and which carries a pusher (15). These are arranged so that when the closing flap opens to allow the bird into the exit passage, the pusher is also activated to clear the laying space. USE/ADVANTAGE - It enables control to be exerted over the laying of the eggs and makes collection easy.
