The procedure for monitoring remotely the characteristics of an electronic circuit includes the generation of a secret code containing information about the parameters to be measured. The code is sent to the location of the product, where it is decoded to determine the monitoring parameters. The product is tested against the specified parameters, and is rejected if it fails to meet the required standards. A count is performed on the products which do in fact pass the tests. USE/ADVANTAGE - Eg tests battery voltage, sound emission of buzzer, light output of electroluminescent diode, LED, micro-controller, memory, keyboard and binary tests. Allows remote monitoring of electronic circuit components manufactured in distant country eg Orient.
