The container (10) has a cover (12) held in an opening (14). The cover is circular and the container may be cylindrical or truncated. The container has an edge (16) comprising several parts forming a monobloc piece (18,20,22,24). The parts (22,24) form the interior and external edges and are connected by a pivoting bi-stable hinge (26) forming a part (28) in which a rim (38) of the cover fits. The cover has a central circular depression (30), which fits in the container opening (14), and an annular projecting part (32) located in a part (34) in the part (18) of the container opening. USE - Easily removed container cover giving good sealing.
