Method of renewing roughness of road surfaces - using tractor-drawn rotating cylinders with flexible tongues to pound surface

The road surface to be roughened is hammered by the rotation of cylinders (15) arranged horizontally under a protective guard (1). The surface of the cylinders is covered with flexible tongues which pound the road and restore the roughness of particles between 1 and 200 micrometres. Several cylinders are joined together and their height is adjustable. The cylinders are pulled along by a tractor unit with a suction road sweeper attached behind. USE/ADVANTAGE - Method of renewing road surfaces which can be used in any weather. Fast, usable on specific areas which need treatment.
