The ball joint attachment device is used to connect one extremity of the first vehicle to the other extremity of the second vehicle. The extremity of one vehicle is supported by the extremity of the second vehicle by means of the contact surface between the ball (27) and the socket. The connector consists of the first component (25), which is fixed to the first vehicle, and forms the ball (27) of the joint. The second component (26) is fixed to the second vehicle and forms the socket of the joint. The ball and socket have a contact area, which is greater than a hemi-sphere. USE/ADVANTAGE - It can carry greater loads as the forces are spread over a greater area.
