The adjuster has a deformable bar (10), with rollers (4,5), grooved to lock two parts between them. A casing (1) contains the assembly, with "V" shaped cam pieces (2,3) and central toothed opposing jaws (2a,3a). These act with the rollers and a movement cam to lock the assembly. The bar is formed of vertical strips, side by side, fixed together. The strips are alternatively raised or lower than the next, forming longitudinal grooves, to mate with the grooved rollers. The bar may have central elongated piercings, enabling shock deformation, by the rollers.
