The T-shaped connector head (12) is made up of a tube (14) with a serrated inner (20) which is a tight fit into an earth rod (10). Two cylindrical side arms (15) protrude at right angles to the main body. The arms are also tubular in section, with serrated inner and of smaller diameter to the main section. These arms take the earth cable (11) allowing connection between two or more earth rods. The top of the main cylinder has a solid section (16) to allow the unit to be tapped onto the earth rod. The earth rod can be inserted into the ground separately to a required depth. ADVANTAGE - Length of rod buried in ground is determined, and two earth rods can be connected together.
