摘要
The motor vehicle bodywork has two lateral door openings (14,16) and a cross-member (40) for making rigid the driving compartment (13) in the transverse direction. The cross-member ends are fixed to two rear uprights (32,34) of the door bays (14,16) and located near a horizontal reference plane which extends from the height of the hips of the occupants between the two doors (18). The cross-member has a controlled rigidity transverse to the driving compartment greater than that of the base (22) of the bodywork. The rear uprights fixed to the cross-member project relative to the lateral edges of the bodywork base. USE - Absorbing of lateral collision shocks.
