The umbrella (5) is fixed to the lid of the case (1) by two straps (2a, 2b). Rigid hooks (3) at each end of the straps hook on to the edges (1c) of the lid. The straps are parallel to the short sides of the lid and are supple and elastic. The ends of the umbrella are held on the straps by elastic tapes (4) whose ends are stitched to the straps. It can be held by strips of hooked pile fasteners on the straps and on its cover. The straps can be joined by a strap between them. USE/ADVANTAGE - To hold folding umbrella on suitcase or briefcase and adaptable to luggage with different dimensions.
