Compensation assembly for pallet trolley - uses complementary balancing spring actuated through manual mechanism to allow for wear of tyres

The compensation assembly is used on a fork lift trolley with a central wheel and two outlying stabilising wheels. The central wheel is motorised and acts to steer the trolley. A suspension spring (8) is connected to each outlying wheel or a synchronising bar which connects them together. The spring uses an attachment system (9,10,11) which can be displaced as the tyres wear. This returns the spring value to an original value, using a complementary balancing spring (18) which is manually actuated by a simple unlocking mechanism (15,16). ADVANTAGE - Allows easy adjustment in event of uneven tyre wear to give improved load-carrying stability.
