The invention relates to a spectrophotocolorimeter intended for on-line spectrophotocolorimetric analysis of a fluid substance. The spectrophotometer comprises an optical colour-measurement head (2) connected to a colour analysis device (5) as well as a measuring conduit (6) comprising a closure device (13, 14) at at least one point in the measuring conduit (6), allowing accumulation of a sample of the fluid substance in a given measurement zone (15), and a port (16) with respect to which the optical head (2) is positioned, the measuring conduit (6) being branched onto a production line (7) through which the fluid substance flows.
