The plant comprises tables for moulding (casting) the walls of the building and an assembly line comprising manufacturing stations distributed along rails (5) along which each building is hauled from station to station. The zone downstream of the line comprises an assembly station provided with a middle table housed between the rails (5) and two tables beside the rails and the tables are associated with means for actuating them in terms of height so that they first of all occupy a raised position in order to form an assembly surface on which the walls of the building are assembled and the floor of the latter is poured. After drying, the tables are lowered in order to release them from the building which then rests just on two supports positioned on the rails (5) so that it can be hauled along them. The building may comprise two modules joined together and connected by fastening and self-centring means in two parts which can be detached from each other. IMAGE
