Triple zone blanket with differential thermal conductivities

A thermal blanket for keeping a sitting person warm and comfortable comprises first, second and third blanket portions (1, 2 and 3, respectively). The first blanket portion (1) is adapted to be sat upon by a person using the blanket and extends substantially to a region behind the knee of the person, the second blanket portion (2) is adapted to extend from the region behind the knee substantially to a region of the feet of the person and the third blanket portion (3) is adapted to extend from the region of the feet up to and over the knees and thighs at least of the person.
