Objective: prevent cracking of koji produced during koji making.After the second maintenance, the koji 16 is pressed by the first pressing device 8 of the koji crack prevention device 7, and a depression 17 is formed on the surface of the koji 16. After the depression 17 is formed, the scraper 9 is disengaged by the cutting machine 9, and then the koji 16 is lifted up by the top of the steamer 10. Then, the raised portion is pressed by the second press 11 to prevent cracks.
