PURPOSE:To house and remove a boring rod in a fallen condition by building a driving mechanism in a rod container divider, disposing plural bell-shaped receivers at a rod wear plate, and disposing plural U-shaped holes at a magazine plate. CONSTITUTION:A rod container device is fallen backward to be made roughly horizontal and is hung up by a crane with the first boring rod kept in a horizontal condition, a container shaft 14 is rotated so that the first U-shaped hole 21a next to a cut part 21b may come to a position which is just above the first boring rod, and the boring rod hung up by the crane is inserted in the bell-shaped receiver 20a of a rod wear plate 20 through the first U-shaped hole 21a. Next, the container shaft 14 is rotated again so that a U-shaped hole 21a next to the U-shaped hole 21a where the first boring rod is inserted may come to a position which is just above the second boring rod to insert the second boring rod into the U-shaped hole 21a. When boring rods after the third one are fitted with a rod magazine in order in the above manner, all the boring rods can be fitted with the U-shaped holes 21a.
