Retaining wall construction method that is carried out by using a city block

PURPOSE:To achieve effective construction by molding a surface block having a through hole, and a spare block separately, by connecting both blocks and a back filling formwork together through a bolt, so as to build a retaining wall, and by removing the bolt after a drum filling concrete is solidified. CONSTITUTION:A surface block 2 of specified form, having a through hole 22 for inserting bolt, and a column-shaped spare block 3 are separately molded. The surface block 2 and the spare block 3 are connected with each other by a fastening member 4 comprising bolt and nut, and are fastened in a back filling formwork 5. A drum filling concrete is cast between the surface block 2 and the formwork 5, while the surface block 2 is put on. After the drum filling concrete is solidified, the bolt 4 is removed, and the through hole 22 is utilized as a weep hole. The efficiency of carrying and construction can thus be improved.
