PURPOSE:To obtain high processing accuracy and high quality processed surface while reducing processing cost so as to obtain the vane bottom part structure of a ceramics made rotary vane which is adapted to mass production and method for processing it. CONSTITUTION:The taper part 7 and the constricted part 6 of the vane bottom part 7 of a rotary vane are processed by indivisual fringe type grinding stones 5a, 5b, and the taper part 7 and the constricted part 6 are combined together discontinuously along a projected boundary part 10 so as to obtain the vane bottom part structure of the ceramics made rotary vane.
