ZONE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BETWEEN CONNECTIONLESS SERVERS

PURPOSE: To reduce congestion by allocating an available band in advance to each path based on data such as a transmission capacity of connectionless servers and a request zone of a subscriber terminal equipment. ;CONSTITUTION: Subscriber terminal equipments A, B,... are allocated to any connectionless server (CLS) 1. A sender side subscriber terminal equipment sends a cell whose head is provided with a header including destination information. A control circuit 3 decodes the header to control an exchange 2 and to decide a path to interconnect the CLS sets 1 accommodating sender side and receiver side subscriber terminal equipments. A zone management section 4 allocates an available zone in advance according to a prescribed system to paths among the CLS sets 1. Each CLS implements transfer control so as not exceed the allocated zone. As one of the allocation systems, the subscriber terminal equipments to be accommodated are allocated so that the sum of request zones of the subscriber terminal equipments to be accommodated to each CLS is uniformized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
