Culture manner null of artificial nutrient medium for medicinal effect component selection of shiitake

PURPOSE:To extract a high-purity medicinal component by releasing and using only a surface layer of a medium and to utilize part except the surface layer part for production of fruit body by concentrating mycelia of Lentinus edodes in the surface layer of an artificial medium by a specific method. CONSTITUTION:First, fungi of Lentinus edodes are inoculated to an artificial medium of Lentinus edodes comprising sawdust or rice bran and cultured preferably at 18-25 deg.C culture temperature for 21-3 months to produce projection and cleavage phenomena caused by collection and organization of fungi of Lentinus edodes on the surface of the medium. Then the fungi are continuously subjected to temperature change control in a temperature range of 15+ or -5 deg.C for 10-20 days, formation of substitute back layer is prevented and mycelia of fungi of Lentinus edodes are collected on the surface of the medium. In th temperature change control, the temperature is preferably changed in a period of 10-15 hours.
