PURPOSE:To obtain a composite board capable of hot-press deformation with cellulosic fibers and a polyolefin resin, by an industrial practical method, by impregnating sheetlike materials, e.g. part of pulp, with a specific polyolefin resin in a melt form under pressure. CONSTITUTION:Sheets made of polyolefin resin modified with maleic anhydride or itaconic acid are alternately superposed between plural sheetlike materials, e.g. paper or pulp, then heated and pressurized while melting the polyolefin resin sheets to afford the aimed composite board.
