PURPOSE:To stabilize the holed wall of soft rock so as to facilitate drilling of a hole by coating the holed wall with a mixed suspended substance comprising sludge mixed in compressed air having a holed wall stabilizing liquid mixed therein, injected from the rotating bit of a rock drill for stabilizing soft rock. CONSTITUTION:A soft rock drilling device comprises a rock drill (a), a holed wall stabilizing liquid supply device (b) and a bit (c), etc., and is formed while including a compressed air supply source 1, an air feed pipe 2 and a swivel joint 3 etc. The discharge opening of the holed wall stabilizing liquid supply device (b) of a well-known thickener liquid, etc., is connected to the air feed pipe 2 by a branch pipe 7 through a feed pipe 5 via an air feed pipe 6 extending from a compressed air supply source 4 of slightly higher pressure than that of the compressed air supply source 1. Compressed air having a holed-wall stabilizing liquid mixed therein is injected from the bit (c) of the rock drill (a) and is mixed with sludge to produce a mixed suspended material, and soft rock is coated therewith so as to stably protect a holed wall. A hole is thus efficiently drilled in soft rock while protecting the holed wall of the soft rock.
