PURPOSE: To provide a mixer for mixing an air flow into exhaust gas, which is capable of minimizing reaction loss and performance disadvantages and reducing noise effectively by a simple structural arrangement. ;CONSTITUTION: A gas turbine engine flow mixer includes at least one chute 38 having first and second spaced apart sidewalls 44, 46 joined together at a leading edge 48. The first and second sidewalls 44, 46 have first and second trailing edges 52, 54 defining therebetween a chute outlet 56. The first trailing edge 52 is spaced longitudinally downstream from the second trailing edge 54 for defining a septum 70 in the first sidewall 44 extending downstream from the second trailing edge 54.
