PURPOSE: To provide a simple observation device for hard contact lens rear surface periphery part which is compact and light and is portable. ;CONSTITUTION: A lens receiving pan 2 for supporting a hard contact lens 3 so that its rear surface is at the upper part, is mounted to the inside of a rear surface 1c of a dark box 1. A light emitting body 4 which is formed by a light- transmission substance with edge lighting effect, focuses surrounding light, and then applies a slit beam to the rear surface of the lens is mounted to an upper surface 1a of the dark box. A magnifier 6 which receives the reflection light from the rear surface of the lens and then forms the image of the light emitting body which is reflected on the rear surface of the lens, is mounted to a front surface 1b of the dark box.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
