PURPOSE: To obtain the method and device for selecting and evaluating the cheapest route by which the least expensive route for a communication charge corresponding to the End-End charge calculation system. ;CONSTITUTION: When an input to select and evaluate the least expensive route is given to a CPU 2 via an entry means 1, the CPU 2 reads installation location data from a 2nd memory 4b and reads subscriber location registration data from a 1st memory 4a based on a called subscriber number (toll station number) inputted by the entry means. Then the CPU calculates a talking distance between the caller and the called party based on the installation location data and the subscriber location registration data.
