PURPOSE: To make it possible to detect an abrasion loss easily and surely, and indicate and monitor the abrasion loss. ;CONSTITUTION: A brush holding part 1 has a recessed cut part 1a formed vertically on the side face and an L-shaped spring-supporting bent part 1b projected outward. A spring receiving part 4 like a convex in shape formed by cutting out a conductive plate is fitted to the top of brush 3. A lower end of the spring receiving part 4 is inserted in the recessed part 1a so as to be connected to a resistance metallic film 2 formed on both sides of the recessed part 1a, A spring 5 is put with tension between the spring supporting part 1b and a lower face of a leg 4a. In addition, the leg 4a and a lower end of the resistance metallic film 2 are connected to an ohm meter or a display unit with a wire 6 and connected through a relay to a central control panel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
