PREPARATION:The objective amylase having pullulanase activity can be produced e.g. by culturing Bacillus circulans F-2 (FERM P-7361) belonging to Bacillus genus in a medium, separating the bacterial cells from the cultured product, collecting a pullulanase-active fraction from the supernatant liquid and subjecting the fraction to extraction, salting-out, ion exchange treatment and purification by hydrophobic chromatography.
