METHOD FOR MASS-PRODUCING PLANT BELONGING TO GENUS OF VIOLA

PURPOSE: To stably proliferate and grow a single line of excellent variety of violet having hardly any possibility of variation of a gene and important as a flower plant in a short period and large amounts. ;CONSTITUTION: A sterilized tissue of a plant belonging to the genus Viola or a tissue of a plant belonging to the genus Viola grown in germ-free state is cultured to induce a shoot primordium and the induced shoot primordium is cultured in a medium for inducing a polyblast substance to form the polyblast substance. The resultant polyblast substance is, as necessary, divided and grown in a medium for growing shoot and the grown shoot is cultured in a re- differentiated plant-culturing medium and rooted.
