PURPOSE: To provide the subject ternary compd. obtained by compounding a polyetherimide, a polycarbonate and a siloxane-polyetharimide copolymer in a specific ratio and having high impact strength, good blow moldability and good injection moldability. ;CONSTITUTION: The objective compd. having easy thermo-moldability and excellent fire retardancy is obtained by compounding three components of a polyetherimide represented by formula I (wherein R is a 6-20C aromatic hydrocarbon; T is S, etc.; and a is 1 or more) (A), pref., polycarbonate being a homopolycarbonate, a copolycarbonate and/or a polyester carbonate represented by formula II (wherein Y is a divalent aromatic group being a divalent phenol used in polycarbonate forming reaction) (B) and a siloxane/polyetherimide copolymer represented by each of formulae III and IV [wherein R' is CXH2X (x is 1-5) or phenyl; R-1 to R-4 are each H, CH3 and, etc.; n and m are each 1-10; and g is 5-40] (C) within a relative wt. ratio range shown by the shadow region of a phase drawing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
