NUMERICAL CONTROLLER WITH DATA RECOVERING FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To easily recover data in a volatile memory even when they are erased by the non-expected fault of the volatile memory to be backed up by a battery, the fault of a detection circuit for the remaining power source of the battery or carelessness in the case of exchanging the battery. CONSTITUTION:A check timing detecting means 23 detects the timing of a check by comparing routine check time to require the routine check of the set numerical controller with the time measured by a real time clock circuit 7. When the necessity to perform the routine check of the numerical controller is displayed on a display means 24, at the same time, the check timing detecting means 23 saves the data of the volatile memory into a non-volatile memory by using a data saving means 25. After the routine check, a data recovering means 26 recovers the saved data into the volatile memory.
