PURPOSE:To prevent a tray from being oscillated by relatively arranging an engaging part and a part to be engaged, which are provided on the tray and the main body of the device, so as to engage the both parts at the protruding position of the tray in an area separated in a direction orthogonal to a moving path on a surface almost parallel to the upper face of a disk loaded on the tray. CONSTITUTION:A tray oscillation-proof device 10 is equipped with engaging parts 1a and 1b, which are provided on either a tray 1 or the main body of the device, and a rotating body means which is pivotally supported by a bearing means 12 provided in the other and equipped with the almost cylindrical parts to be engaged (rollers 14a and 14b) engaged with the engaging parts (frictional engaging parts 1a and 1b). The engaging parts 1a and 1b and the parts 14a and 14b to be engaged are relatively arranged so as to be engaged at the protruding position of the tray 1, at least, in the area separated in the direction orthogonal to the moving path, at least, on the surface almost parallel to the upper face of the disk loaded on the tray 1, and relative slipping movement in the engaged state is prevented. Thus, the tray 1 is prevented from being oscillated.
