PURPOSE:To permit the discrimination and judgement of the fragrant component to be discriminated of an unknown measuring object by detecting the fragrant component of the unknown measuring object by plural fragrance detectors having different characteristic. CONSTITUTION:The fragrant component of the unknown measuring object is detected by the plural fragrance detectors having the different characteristics and the results thereof are analogously or digitally displayed. The displayed data is compared with the known fragrant component data, by which the discrimination and judgement of the fragrant component to be discriminated of the unknown measuring object by contrasting is executed. The fragrance of the measuring sample is measured in the above-mentioned manner and is compared with the preliminarily measured data. The discrimination of the measuring sample or the discrimination of whether the product has specified quality or not is executed in real time without contact and without damaging the sample. The quantitative evaluation is thus made without depending on the human sense.
