PURPOSE: To obtain the subject mixed fuel excellent in emulsifiability, good in preservability useful in the general industry including power generation, containing pulverized asphalt and comprising asphalt of specific flashpoint, water and an α-sulfofatty acid ester salt at specified proportions. ;CONSTITUTION: This fuel mixed with high-flashpoint asphalt-water, having the above-mentioned advantages essentially comprises (A) 60-85 pts.wt. of asphalt ≥200°C in flashpoint, ≤80 in the rate of penetration and ≥99.7wt.% in trichloroethane or carbon tetrachloride solubles, (B) 40-15 pts.wt. of water, and (C) 0.01-5 pts.wt. based on the total of 100 pts.wt. of the components A and B, of an α-sulfofatty acid ester salt of e.g. the formula (R₁ and R₂ are each a 6-22C alkyl or an alkenyl; M is a counterion such as an alkali metal, sodium or potassium, an alkaline earth metal, calcium or magnesium, ammonium, or an amine salt, ethanolamine) (e.g. methyl α-sulfostearate sodium salt).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
