PURPOSE: To stably produce good-quality sheet materials by casting the sheet materials by ≥1 continuous casting machines, coiling these sheet materials by a coiler and heat holding or heating the coiled sheet materials in a tunnel furnace. ;CONSTITUTION: The sheet materials are cast by the ≥1 continuous casting machines 8 and the unequal temps. of the sheet materials generated at the time of casting are made uniform by a soaking pit 7. The sheet materials are coiled by the coiler 6 and are taken into the tunnel furnace 5. The coiled sheet materials are held hot or heated to a temp. adequate for rolling in the tunnel furnace 5. The sheet materials are moved to a discharge port and are discharged to the coiler 4.
