PURPOSE: To obtain a whippable cream with a low fat content by respectively specifying the content of the fat and an emulsifying agent system of the o/w emulsion having a water phase containing butter milk or a thickener and a fat phase containing the emulsifying system. CONSTITUTION: The o/w emulsion is provided with the fat phase which is distributed to the water-soluble phase containing butter milk powder and the thickener (B) and which includes 15-25 wt.% fat and 0.7 wt.% = emulsifying agent system (lecithin, etc.). Then, non-dairy cream which is whipped within six minutes, desirably four minutes by a home electric whipper.
