AUTOMOBILE DOOR WINDOW GLASS AUTOMATIC OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE BY DIFFERENCE OF TEMPERATURE WITHIN CABIN

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent the interior of a cabin from being at high temperature under the burning sun by fixing one end of a bimetallic strip to the window glass plate and the other end to a part of a door, and automatically opening or closing the window glass according to the change of temperature. CONSTITUTION:One end of a bimetallic strip 4 is fixed to a part of a vehicle, the other end is fixed to a window glass plate 2, and the window glass plate 2 is moved by the difference of elongation due to difference of expansion coefficient of two pieces of metal constituting the bimetal 4. Consequently, a gap is provided between the window glass plate 2 and the door at high temperature, air inside and outside the vehicle are communicated with each other, the temperature in the vehicle is lowered. Accordingly, under the burning sun, the window glass plate 2 is a little opened to lower the temperature in the cabin, and at low temperature the window glass plate 2 is closed, to thus preventing temperature rise in the cabin.
