PURPOSE:To easily adjust a paper and an image in an up-and-down directions, by so constituting that the phase of engagement between helical gears fixedly provided in a paper feed cylinder and an impression cylinder is changed by the movement of said paper feed cylinder to said impression cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When errors are found in type setting or a printing plate is deviated in an up-and-down directions, a paper feed cylinder 5 is moved in an axial direction to an impression cylinder, so that the phase of the cylinder 5 and the impression cylinder is changed by the utilization of the spiral angle of a driving force transmitting a helical gear 64 fixedly provided in the impression cylinder and a helical gear 39 engaged with the helical gear 64 of the impression cylinder which is fixed by a bolt to a wheel 25 of the cylinder 5. As a result, the paper feed position of a paper (a) is forwarded or retracted with respect to an image, and the catching position of the paper of the impression cylinder is changed. Accordingly, the image can be easily adjusted in the up-and-down directions for the paper.
