PURPOSE: To provide a method for steam sterilizing a dialyzer for blood purification for which membranes are used under a high pressure without degrading its dialysis and filtration performance and the dialyzer for blood purification for which the sterilized membranes are used and which permits an easy priming treatment. ;CONSTITUTION: This method for sterilizing the dialyzer for blood purification for which the membranes are used consists of a pretreating stage which puts the membranes into a wet state by deaerated water or aq. soln. of a material harmless to the human body and a sterilizing stage for steam sterilizing the dialyzer under a high pressure in the state of maintaining the wet state. This dialyzer for blood purification for which the membranes are used is the sterilized dialyzer for blood purification of which the membranes are held in the wet state by the deaerated water or the aq. soln. of the material harmless to the human body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
