COMMUNICATION METHOD FOR INFRARED RAY REMOTE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE: To provide the communication method of an infrared ray remote controller being the communication method of an infrared ray signal enabling to shorten the transmission time of the infrared ray signal and is capable of prolonging the using time of a battery to be mounted by suppressing the consumption of the battery. ;CONSTITUTION: This method is the communication method of an infrared ray remote controller performing a remote control for an equipment to be controlled by an infrared ray signal composed of a reader code 15, a custom code 16, a data code 17 and a stop bit 19. An error detection at the time of communication is performed by attaching the redundant code for error detection of a transmission signal to the part where the custom code 16 and the data code 17 are integrated. As the redundant code, a CRC(cyclic redundancy check) code is used, and the reader code 15 is composed of the transmission of a 4ms infrared ray signal and the stoppage of the transmission of a 2ms infrared ray signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
