DEVICE SYSTEM FOR CONFIRMING POSITION AND DIRECTION OF HELMET AGAINST HEAD OF PERSON WEARING IT AFTER SETTING

PURPOSE: To make a helmet to be properly put on the head of a person who wears the helmet by providing an optical system which is used for adjusting the position and direction of the helmet so that the pupil of the person can be aligned with that of an optoelectronic means and the direction of the eyes of the person can intersect the optical axis vector of the optoelectronic means at a prescribed angle. ;CONSTITUTION: A device system 20 is provided with first and second optical means and two screens E21 and E₂. An electronic inspection pattern is displayed on a screen 40. The first optical means forms the image M'₁ of the pupil of a person Q who wears a helmet on the screen E₁ 21 and adjusts the position of the helmet so that the image M'₁ can become coincident with the inspection pattern M₁. The second optical means adjusts the direction of the helmet so that the axis of the eyes of the person can become coincident with the axis of an optoelectronic means in direction, namely, a picture M₂ displayed on the screen E 21 can be superposed upon the point M'₂ of the test pattern.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
