PURPOSE:To effectively prevent white turbidity of marine water in a discharge sea area. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust water from a power station is discharged to a sea from a discharge port 1. To suppress white turbidity of the marine water in association with water discharging, the surroundings of the discharge port 11 are enclosed with a weir 1 equipped with an opening 1a in a position below the sea level 13, and water exhaust is made to the weir 1 from the port 11, and the water in the weir 1 is discharged to the sea from the opening 1a. A means is furnished to adjust the discharging rate of flow from the opening 1a so that the rate of exhaust flow from the port 11 is equal to the rate of discharging flow from the opening 1a. Therefore, the discharge head to the sea becomes under zero meter to cause elimination of air inclusion at discharging, and white turbidity of the marine water associated with the discharge head is suppressed perfectly.
