PURPOSE: To obtain the fitted composition useful for films, vessels, etc., which maintains the inherent mechanical properties of a resin, well preserves the environment and is obtained by chemically bonding PE and starch using a bonding agent. ;CONSTITUTION: The objective composition comprises (A) 100 pts.(wt.) PE, (B) from 5 to 400 pts. starch such as general starch, acid-treated starch, esterified starch or the like, (C) from 0.01 to 10 pts. bonding agent such as maleic anhydride, methacrylic anhydride, maleimide or the like, (D) from 0.01 to 1.0 pts. radical initiator such as benzoyl peroxide, di-t-butyl(hydro) peroxide or the like, (E) from 0.01 to 5 pts. Lewis acid catalyst such as oleic acid, olenic acid or the like, (F) from 0.01 to 10 pts. autoxidizing agent such as manganese oleate, manganese stearate or the like and (G) from 0.01 to 10 pts. plasticizer such as oleamide, erucamide or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
