PURPOSE:To shorten the time for generating an itemized statistical table by summing-up and processing a medical treatment code with a high usage frequency in a memory. CONSTITUTION:The treatment code of a medical treatment code storing table 2 is extended in the memory as a medical treatment code table 4 based on the condition of the medical treatment statistical pick-up condition parameter of a medical treatment statistical pick-up condition parameter file 3. Unless the reading of a whole medical data file 1 is completed, the treatment code applying the treatment section of the medical treatment statistical pick-up condition parameter is picked-up from the medical data file 1 and it is searched whether or not the picked-up treatment code exists in the medical treatment code table 4 which is extended in the memory. Unless the same code exists in the medical treatment code table 4, it is outputted to a medical data pick-up file 5. After the reading of the whole medical data file 1 is completed, act data in the memory is edited and outputted to the medical data pick-up file 5.
