PURPOSE: To improve range of measured frequencies. CONSTITUTION: An Electron Spin Resonance type pulse spectrophotometer has a first microwave oscillator 80 to generate measurement signals. A second microwave oscillator 60 generates auxiliary signals. A first mixer 81 generates mixed signals, by mixing the measurement signals with the auxiliary signals. Pulse shaping channels 62a to 62c generate pulse mixing signals. In addition, a resonator 84 for measurement possible to apply pulse mixing signals is provided. A second mixer 85 mixes the signals generated from the resonator 84 and the signals from the first microwave oscillator 80 to generate output signals of low microwave frequency.
