VACUUM-PACKED RAW OYSTER WITH SHELL BEING READILY SHELLED

PURPOSE: To obtain a vacuum-packed raw oyster with shells having a hole previously bored through a shell in which a consumer can appreciate a fresh raw oyster with shells by inserting a cutting tool into the hole of the shell, cutting an adductor muscle to readily peel the shell. ;CONSTITUTION: A hole for cutting an adductor muscle is bored through the under surface of the deeper shell among two shells of an oyster with two shells and, in a view in which a ligament is arranged at the left side, at the joint part of the two shells at an approximately site wherein an axis intersecting closely the center passing through the ligament in longer direction is brough into contact with the shell at the lower part, the raw oyster with shells is put in a packaging bag and sealed under reduced pressure to give a vacuum-packed raw oyster with shells.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
