PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing human tissue plasminogen activating factor derived from human normal cells. ;CONSTITUTION: A DNA sequence coding mouse metallothionein promoter or human metallothionein promoter and the subject activating factor composed of the 530 amino acids beginning from glycine at the N-terminal includes a DNA sequence given in sequence No:1 of the sequence table, and produces the objective activating factor using microbial or animal cells transformed by a recombinant DNA vector functionally linked to the above-mentioned promoter and having self-replicating ability in animal cells.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
