PURPOSE: To rapidly, efficiently and inexpensively produce adsorbent materials, water quality improving materials, etc., which are effectively reutilizable for humidifying agents, deodorants, etc., are uniform in components and have good quality by using an apparatus for producing the adsorbent materials, water quality improving materials, etc., formed by utilizing the calcinable materials and a process for producing such materials. ;CONSTITUTION: This apparatus and process for production successively include a crushing machine 12 and stage for crushing materials which are to be calcined and consist of the calcinable waste materials to suitable sizes, a drying machine 11 and stage for adjusting the crushed materials to be calcined to a moisture content of a specified numerical value, a zeolite powder supplying machine 23 and stage for supplying zeolite powder to the crushed materials to be calcined, a mixing machine 24 and stage for mixing these materials, a pelletizing machine 27 and stage for molding the mixture composed thereof to prescribed particle sizes, and a calcining device 31 and stage for continuously calcining and treating the granular materials.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
