PURPOSE: To provide a method of producing a molding wherein the molding can be produced inexpensively without requiring the manufacture of a draw-out press blade, the thickness can be freely adjusted, a temporary fixing operation can be efficiently performed without impairing the surface of the molding or a shaping material and the molding excellent in three-dimensional feature and surface flatness can be produced, along with the molding obtained thereby. ;CONSTITUTION: A method of forming a shaping material comprises holding a pair of cutout guide plates 2a and 2b having the same cutout patterns 1 as the actually cut out figure to their respective surfaces of two opposite sides of a three-demensional foam resin block material 3, moving a fusing instrument along the outlines 5 of the cutout shape in a simultaneous operation to form a cutout block material 3 and cutting the block material into a desired thickness to produce the shaping materials on a mass production basis.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
